Guest House is the leading gay and lesbian establishment
in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We are conveniently located. Our Web site provides
you with information about what is happening in Halifax, the province
in general, and a listing of other B&B’s, guest houses, and inns in
the Maritimes.
Halifax proper is a small city port situated on a mile-wide and two-miles long peninsula. The greater Halifax Regional Municipality is also the largest city in the Maritimes. The city was a primary portal to the New World. History, architecture, universities, and a cultural mosaic overlay the mundane activities of business and government. Tourism is also important. We pride ourselves in being friendly and nodding. We maintain eye contact. We enjoy being asked to provide people with directions. We take our multiculturalism seriously. Happenings throughout the summer range from live theatre, annual international parades, Buskers (street performers), open air concerts, cultural festivals, and special museum exhibits. Fine dining is available all-year long. Halifax is a city made for walking. Buses are easy to get to and practical (downtown parking is expensive and hard to find). Most of our guests say that they should have stayed longer as there is so much to see. You are sure to find things that interest you.
